Transaction Type

Depending on if this field was included as a dispense parameter during the onboarding of the your organization, you may have the option to select a transaction type when creating a new dispense.

If you do have the transaction type dispense paramete active, it will allow your organization to filter and report on all dispenses by transaction type. This can be useful for tracking the cost of fuel consumption based on transaction type when creating reports, fulfilling reports, or tracking basic usage.

If you do not have the transaction type dispense parameter active, you will not have the option to select a transaction type when creating a new dispense and it will not affect your dispense activity.

An example of the transaction type dispense parameter on the dispense setup page is shown below:

• Here we can see the empty transaction type parameter as an option
  
• After clicking on it we will be prompted with a transaction type to select (your transaction type options may differ from those present in this example)
  
• After selecting a transaction type, the transaction type will be displayed in the transaction type parameter
