Commissioning Devices
Proper commissioning ensures the Fuellox unit is correctly configured and fully functional before use. This guide covers key setup requirements, troubleshooting steps, and system configuration advice.
System Commissioning
Before use, ensure your Fuellox unit has a k-Factor correctly applied to the hardware. Without it, the pump will not start.
Troubleshooting
1. Device Not Visible in Fuellox App
- Confirm the unit is assigned to your Fuellox account.
- In the App, go to Dashboard → Devices and check the serial number.
- If it’s missing, contact the Fuellox Help Desk for support.
2. Wrong Fluid Message
- Ensure you’ve selected both Equipment and Compartment in the app.
- The app uses these to identify which fluid to authorize.
- If the error persists after selection, contact the Help Desk.
3. Can’t Connect (BLE Issues)
- Unpair the BLE device and re-pair it.
- Use this link for help: See Re-Pair BLE Guide
4. New Settings Don’t Apply
- After configuration via the app, the Fuellox unit must be restarted.
- Hardware changes won’t take effect until the unit is power cycled.
- To do this:
- Turn off power for 20–30 seconds
- For high-capacitance power supplies, allow more time
- Turn the power back on and re-test
5. Estop or Nozzle Switch Issues
- Older Fuellox App versions may have issues modifying instrumentation parameters.
6. Level Probe Not Working
- Ensure the following level attributes are correctly configured in the Device Settings:
Feature | Description | Default Value | unit |
---|---|---|---|
Level Installed | Confirm level probe is physically installed | True | Boolean |
Max Level | Max liquid height (usually same as Safe Fill) | 3000 | mm max |
Max Analogue | Maximum expected analog signal from probe | 20 | mA max |
Analog Input Reference Table:
Tank Height (mm) | Analog Max (mA) |
---|---|
3,000 | 20 |
2,700 | 18 |
2,400 | 16 |
1,200 | 10 |
1,000 | 7 |
