Installation Steps

  1. Prepare for Installation

    • Open the Fuellox HD packaging and ensure all components are present and undamaged.
    • Components typically include the main Fuellox HD unit, wiring accessories, connectors, and the user manual.
    • Select a stable, level location that provides adequate access to the system’s control panel, power input terminals, and connectors.
    • Ensure the area has proper ventilation to avoid overheating and ensure smooth operation.
    • The area should be free of moisture, dust, and any potential interference from metal objects, especially if using a Bluetooth antenna.
  2. Mount the Fuellox HD Unit

    • Use mounting brackets or screws to securely attach the Fuellox HD unit to the wall or appropriate frame.
    • Ensure the unit is mounted on a stable surface that allows easy access to control panels and connections.
    • Avoid placing the unit in locations that could expose it to moisture, extreme temperatures, or excessive vibrations.
  3. Electrical Connections

    • Connect the power supply to the unit, ensuring the voltage matches the Fuellox HD specifications (12/24V DC).
    • Wire the control signals, including pump control, pulse signals, and any other required connections as per the wiring diagram.
    • For systems with a DFV Meter, connect the pulse signal cables to the appropriate input terminal for accurate fuel measurement.
  4. Install External Antenna (if applicable)

    • Attach the Bluetooth antenna to the designated port on the Fuellox HD unit.
    • Mount the antenna at a high point or a location with minimal signal interference to optimize performance.
  5. Connect Other External Components

    • Wire the nozzle switch or any other external components, if applicable, as per the wiring instructions.
    • Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent accidental disconnections.
  6. Device Configuration and Setup

    • Power on the Fuellox HD unit and ensure it connects to the Bluetooth network or any other required communication channels.
    • Follow the provided configuration settings in the user manual to set up the device for your specific needs, such as fuel monitoring and pump control.
  7. System Testing

    • Run an initial test to ensure that all functions are working as expected, including pump control, flow monitoring, and signal transmission.
    • Verify the proper operation of the emergency stop, fault indicators, and any other safety features.
  8. Final Check and Inspection

    • Double-check all wiring connections to ensure there are no loose connections or exposed wires.
    • Inspect the unit to ensure it is securely mounted and that there are no obstructions or safety hazards around the device.
  9. Document and Complete the Installation

    • Record the Fuellox HD unit’s serial number, configuration settings, and installation location for future reference.
    • Complete any necessary installation reports and provide the user with the product documentation, including the user manual and warranty information.
  10. Final User Training

    • Provide the user with a walkthrough of the Fuellox HD system, explaining the basic operations, controls, and safety features.
    • Ensure the user is familiar with how to operate the system, handle emergency situations, and monitor the system for any faults.
