Firmware Update 0.21

Background

Due to operating system changes, Fuellox hardware requires a firmware update.

The update will change how hardware devices are bonded to mobile apps. and also increase connection reliability.

Requirements

1. 10-15 minutes where system can be isolated. No refuelling will be possible until the update is completed.
2. App user with access to Manage Devices and Firmware Update. Confirm with the help desk that you have the correct permissions
3. Mobile App release v2.0.26 or above

Note

In the event the update fails or is interrupted a service visit may be required.

Upgrade Process

Locate the handset within BLE range of the hardware unit. Do not remove the mobile handset from that proximity until the update is complete.

From the Hamburger Menu click Manage Devices.

Connect to the Fuellox

Go to Config and Click Firmware Update

Select v0.21 from the options list and click Update Device.

Once the Update Complete dialog shows, click OK.

Power Cycle the Fuellox unit.

Force close the mobile app.

Go to Settings and remove the paired device. It will be a 7 digit number, beginning with 2. ie 2123456. Forget that device.

Open the Fuellox App once more.

Continue to the Dispense menu and test the dispensing works as expected.

Note

All users must forget the paired device prior to the next usage
