Setup QR Codes

The best way to assign QR codes is directly in the field. Rather than assigning them in the office and then trying to match each code to the right asset, simply take the unassigned codes out to your equipment, stick one on, and attach it using the app on the spot.

The QR Codes are a quality sticker and there are some that have been out in the weather for over 5 years without any issue. That being said, most people put them in the cab. If you’re planning on tracking the odometer, we recomend the cab as the best place to put the QR code, as the operator will need to sight the odometer after scanning the QR code.

Fuelox QR codes and dispensing.

Open the Fuelox app and tap the menu in the top right corner, then select assets.

Find your asset, and down the bottom right, tap the three vertical dots and select attach QR code. This will open the camera. Just point it at the QR code. You’ll see it’s attached to the asset by the orange QR code icon.

If you wanna remove it, tap the three dots again and detach QR code.

Back on the home screen, tap dispense then scan QR code, which will open the camera. Point it at the QR code, and it will select your equipment.

Choose your pump, and press the start button to begin dispensing.

On the Fuelox unit, you’ll see the pump light on and the flow light flashing.

Press stop to end the dispense.

The unit will stop, and a summary will appear in the app.
