Setup Users

Go to the Users section of the dashboard to add new users and manage their permissions. Let’s take a quick walk through how to use this section.

When Fuelox sets up your system, we create an account for the person who made the purchase. This person is assigned a manager role and has full access to the system. To add a new user, click the plus symbol in the blue circle. Enter their name, email address, and mobile number. A user only needs one of these to log in, email or mobile. You don’t need both.

We recommend using email for those who will be managing the system in the dashboard and mobile number for those out in the field dispensing fuel. Select either SMS user login instructions or email user password, then check the checkbox at the bottom to confirm the user complies with the recommendations, then hit create.

The new user will appear in the user list. Clicking on them lets you update their details, send a new password, view their transactions, and manage their user roles.

By default, new users are assigned the app user role, which allows them to dispense fuel only. If you’d like to give a user more control over the system, you can assign them more roles from here.
